1. What was your first thrifting experience? How often do you thrift now?
I don't really remember my first thrifting experience everyone in my family especially my one sister thrift shopped and i just loved her clothes so i think i always have been a second hand shopper. oh oh but i do remember when i had the aha moment and decided to dress differently then just jeans and a hoodies which is the pretty much the uniform here in Ontario. I was shopping with my friend and i wanted to go to into American Eagle or somewhere and she said something about not wanting to dress the same as everyone else and i was like oh man she is so right!!!! We then went to a thrift store and it was like heaven and super cheap so i totally owe her for getting me interested into fashion.
2. What items do you have most luck finding?
Blouses for sure. Up until a couple of months ago i would have said blazers but i havent found a good one in months (so sad) but there are always cute button up blouses with little collars at my local thrift store.

3. Why do you thrift?
I definitely thrift because it is cheap, it is always so exciting to find something thats adorable and like four dollars. My lack of a job makes money very tight so thrifting is an awesome way to still have loads of clothes without spending to much. I know have always lived in small towns but even in the cities i visit the shopping generally isnt to on trend except H&M (love that store) but in thrift stores i can generally find the really cool unique things that are generally under ten dollars!!.
4. I consider you a thriftshionista. What does that mean to you?
I think a thriftshionista is someone who is finds awesome deals no matter where they shop and has their own sense of style

5. Do you think your thrifted pieces make a statement?
oh i definitely think thrifted pieces make a statement. Most stuff you find is older so the chances of someone else having the exact same shirt are definitely slim which makes the item totally unique. I lived in a small town and everyday at least three girls would have the same shirt on from one of the three stores in our mall so i totally love having something no one else does
6. What advice would you give to someone interested in thrifting?
Look at absolutely everything!! Some of the best stuff i find is in the randomest places where other people have just put it down for some reason and probably keep trying thrift stores even if you dont find anything. I am going through a total dry spell at the moment i dont think i have found anything thrifting in a long time but you never know when you could find something great!

7. If you had to choose, what are your favorite thrifted pieces?
Oh that is so hard haha definitely one of my favourite pieces is my emerald blazer that i got for $4 dollars. It is definitely one of the coolest things i own although it photographs a totally different colour then what it is in real life. My black blazer with these really cool gold buttons, it has gigantic shoulder pads which make me laugh but i just love it so much!! And my purple converse which i got for $7.50 in the mens section of a consignment store. I have pretty large feet so it is always super exciting when i find shoes.
8. Why did you agree to be featured?
When i read SheDels posts they always made me smile and laugh. I thought now there is someone i would love to talk to in real life because i think we would have a blast!
