UK Living: Shopping Haul

Hey Thriftshionistas!!

I have been living and studying in the U.K. for three months, but I definitely have not done much shopping. However, I do want to share my recent purchases with you. I got some really cute things and can't wait to style them. Check it out!

Fashion Loves at the Moment

Hey Guys,

So I have to show you guys the things that I have been scoping. I've been drooling over the shop windows here in London and I want everything (Though there is NOTHING in my size) but everything is GORGEOUS!!!!!! Being here has truly given me a lot of ideas for outfits!! I just need to find all the items LOL. Here's items that I need in my life AND closet:)

1. Doc Martens-EVERYONE has them here and I see why.. THEY ARE DOPE!!!!!! They are a bit on the expensive side, but SOOOOOOO worth it. If I'm lucky, maybe I can find a pair thrifting one day.

2. Peplum Skirt- These skirts are SEXY and the overskirt adds that "you want me" feeling.

3. Denim Jacket-I NEED one. I'm kicking myself for not buying the dope one I found this summer whilst (yeah I'm so British right now) thrifting. I'm on the hunt now.

4. Bright colored blazers- In general, I need some more blazers in my life and if they are bright, that is EVEN better. Blazers add structure and professionalism to any outfit.

5. Lace Dress-I mean why not... they are HOT!!!!!!!!!

6. Sheer Maxi-I LOOOOOVEEEEEEEEE long skirts, but I don't have any sheer ones. They add a sexiness and edginess that I'm missing.

7. Studded Collars-They are VERY popular this season and they are just FAB. They too add an edge to any look. I'd feel like a straight rocker if I got my hands on a studded collared shirt.

Thrifted OOTD: I'm a Throwback Baby

Hey Bellas,

I am back again. Can you believe it?!?! I am here with another one of my favorite outfits! (I think I say this about all of my outfits, but seriously. I felt so retro/vintage and my headscarf made me think of Rosie the Riveter and a conservative pin up girl (if that isn't a COMPLETE oxymoron). I've been into wearing scarves as turbans lately and it's becoming my signature. look..well that and my fro!!I'm also excited because I  finally got the opportunity to wear my pleated skirted after wearing it in this first outfit..

OOTD: A Pocket Full of Sunshine

Hello Lovelies!!

I have been such a bad, REALLY bad blogger lately, but I promise to get my act together soon. My euro-experience has been WILD and there was no one to take pictures of me when I actually dressed in something besides jeans and a sweater. I FINALLY decided to be a good blogger again and went to the nearby park to kick off my spring looks :) My friend Diamond, an AMAZING, up and coming photographer took these photos with her camera. Can you notice the OPTIMAL photo quality? I need her in my life everyday!! LOL I call this outfit "A Pocket Full of Sunshine" because it just screams spring. I have incorporated trends such as color blocking as well as the tie front top. This is one of my favorite outfits of all time and I hope you guys love it as much as I do!!!

My Thrifted Closet Turned One

Hey Lovelies,

Can you believe it? On April 8, 2012, my baby, this blog, turned one. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MTC :)  I am SOOOOO excited. When I first started this blog, I didn't know I was going to have 100 subbies, much less almost 500. You guys are awesome.
